A 80m2 two bedrooms apartment with a single bathroom with a poor layout in terms of space utilization. The client requested the creation of a second bathroom which lead to the relocation of the kitchen within part of previous corridor space. I looked at reducing the corridor space and give it back to living areas.

By comparing the existing and proposed plan the functionality has improved enormously. The existing bathroom became the ensuite for the master bedroom and a new family spacious  bathroom has been created in the previous kitchen area including part of the corridor and adjacent to the existing bathroom.  The corridor leading to the living room has been transformed into an entrance lobby including a niche for a wardrobe and an kitchen open to the living room. The entire flat has been upgraded with a new electrical system, new floor and wall finishes.
