Morresi hairstyle shop

Client: Morresi hairstyle

As the retail unit adjacent to Morresi`s shop became vacant, the owner decided to expand into the new unit and rethink of the entire shop as a whole including a new branding. I was appointed to create the new design, help the client to visualise ideas for a more functional and more inviting  space which was reflecting the new branding. I engaged with the team, understood their daily tasks and way of working to tackle the design in all aspects. The layout has been completely rethought, the entrance to the shop has moved to the new unit and therefore the reception as well with a new waiting area.

The washing area has moved from the back of the shop to the new unit near the waiting area. The old shop space has become the artistic space, with a central counter which is the heart of the new design. A dedicated barber area has been created with different materials to define the area and so was the make-up corner. A new opening was created to connect the two units.

A coffee bar has been created to allow to offer coffees to the clients and also create a bar style counter for DJ sets during the weekends.

A new plumbing and electrical system was installed due to the reconfiguration of the facilities.
